I recently found a page with oodles of cat articles written by veterinarians and cat behaviorists. I haven't read all of the articles yet and I can't guarantee that they'll all be accurate or good, but so far, I've loved what I've read. Here are two favorites:
An article discussing the use of squirt guns or water bottles to keep cats off of counters and such
and
an articles arguing for more feeding of wet food only for cats, primarily for overweight cats and cats with diabetes.
