Quick Tip: Coming when called

Want your dog to come when you call?  Put ten treats in your pocket each morning and call your dog to come to you.  Feed a treat and then let your dog go back to what it was doing.  The first few days, do this in the house.  If your dog responds well in the house, start practicing outside.  Then, try more challenging situations.  Remember, until you are sure your dog is reliable, practice in fenced in areas or use a longline to keep your dog safe.
